Rehearsals

The choir rehearses every Tuesday from 10.15am - 12 noon in the Club Room, St David’s Uniting Church, Corner of Burke and Mont Albert Roads, Camberwell.

We ask for regular weekly attendance and attendance at any workshops offered. When you are unable to come to Choir, please send an apology via a friend or phone Josie or Mary [see Choir Notes for numbers].We do ask that you take this seriously as we are obliged to remove your name from the Roll after two unexplained absences. This is a U3A requirement. If the absence is to be an extended absence, e.g. trip or caring for family, please give all music to Prue.

Our aim is to enjoy our music and strive for a high standard. For new members of MU02 an audition may be required and there is a strong preference for newcomers who can read music.

In Harmony - details for 2009 to be provided. Members of this class [MU04] will take part in group choral singing. Members must be able to read music.

Long black skirt or slacks; long-sleeved black top; black stockings; black shoes.

Men
White shirt; tie; navy jacket; grey slacks; black shoes.

Care of Music

Please use 2B pencil when writing personal reminders on music. If you need to use highlighter or pen, please photocopy the music you were given and mark that copy, so that you can return the original unmarked.
